What are ‘Odds’ in sports betting?
An “odd” refers to the amount you could win by correctly predicting the outcome of an event or match.
Odds are the measure of how much you can win by how much you bet.
For example, if odds are at 3 to 1 (or 3.0), you can triple your money if you win that bet. If odds are low (like 1.1), it means that the chances of the bet being won are high and you will win less on a low odd bet (you will just win 0.1 on a bet of 1:1 odds). If odds are high (like 8.5), you will win more if your bet is correct (you will win 8.5 times whatever you bet or 8.5 for every 1 bet).
If the odds you bet on are high, you are likely betting on the ‘underdog’ (the team or person less likely to win) and although the possibility of a win is lower, you will win more.
What is a ‘Stake’ in sports betting?
A ‘stake’ is the money risked or used to place a bet for a possible gain.
A stake is also known as your bet size. If you place a bet of $5, your stake is $5. If you place a stake of $5 on a bet at odds of 2 (or @ 2.00), you will win double your stake (you get $10 off a $5 bet so in this example you will double your money by winning the same as your stake).Where can I view my sports bets and results?

What is a ‘Sports Bonus’?
A sports bonus can be used for placing sports bets if the odds are over 1.4 and as long as your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance is equal to or bigger than your stake/bet size.
How can I use my ‘Sports Bonus’?
Your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance can only be used on sports bets (found on the ‘Sports’ tab) where all odds within the bet you place are over 1.4 and your stake/bet size is less than or equal to your balance. You select your bet in the standard manner and, if eligible, your bet will be placed using all or part of your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance. The ‘Stake’ size (Bonus) is deducted from your balance and your potential winnings displayed in your ‘Open Bets’ or ‘Bet History’ tab. If you try to place a bet larger than your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance or at odds of 1.4 or less, the bet will be placed from your ‘Cash’ balance. Remember that even if the combined odds of a ‘Multi-Bet’ are over 1.4, if any portion of your bet has odds of 1.4 or lower, you cannot use your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance for such bets. All odds/sections of the bet placed (even if a Multi-Bet) have to be over 1.4.
What happens if my stake size is bigger than my ‘Sports Bonus’ balance or I try to use my ‘Sports Bonus’ on low odds?
If you try to place a bet using your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance at odds of 1.4 or less, your ‘Cash’ balance will be used for that bet and winnings will have the stake added in the calculation. Your bet will not be listed as a ‘Stake/Bonus’ and you will see the potential payout amount will not have your ‘Stake’ amount deducted. If you have a Cash balance available, your bet will be placed and will stand as if you placed that bet using Cash.
Are bets placed with ‘Sports Bonus’ eligible for cashout?
No, only bets placed with ‘Cash’ balance are eligible for cashout.
Can I use my ‘Bonus’ balance to place sports bets?
No, you can only use your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance or ‘Cash’ balance for Sports bets. If you have a ‘Sports Bonus’ balance and your bet is placed on odds of over 1.4 and your stake size is less than your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance, your bet will be placed using your ‘Sports Bonus’ and winnings will be paid to you minus the stake. If your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance is smaller than your stake size or you place a bet at odds of 1.4 or under, your bet will be placed using your ‘Cash’ balance and winning bets will be paid out with your stake. If you place a sports bet and you have a ‘Cash’ balance, ‘Bonus’ balance and ‘Sports Bonus’ balance, your bet will be placed using your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance if the stake size is smaller than your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance and your betting odds are greater than 1.4. If your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance is smaller than your stake size or the odds of your bet are 1.4 or less, your bet will be placed using your ‘Cash’ balance. If you don’t have enough ‘Sports Bonus’ or ‘Cash’ balance to place your bet, you will receive the error message that you don’t have enough cash funds in your account to make this bet and you will need to make a deposit to continue betting.

Why can’t I place a bet?
Reasons could be that you have insufficient funds in which case you must top up your account; odds may have moved while you were placing the bet; or a market has been suspended due to unforeseen events (such as a cancellation). In the case of a bet being voided/cancelled, your stake will be refunded to your account.
What happens to my bet if the event gets postponed or cancelled?
If an event is cancelled, then all bets are automatically voided. Depending on the specific event and market, bets may still be valid on postponed events. If one market of a multi-bet is cancelled/voided, the bet will still stand either with one less selection or as a single bet.
What is a Single bet?
A single bet is a bet that you place on a single outcome of an event or match. For example, betting on Arsenal Football Club to win against Brentford Football Club:
What is a Multi-Bet?
A multi-bet is a bet made up of 2 or more selections in one bet. If one selection loses, the whole multi-bet is declared a losing bet. For a multi-bet to be deemed a winner, all selections must win. You can often win more when you place a successful multi-bet, but odds are higher than a single bet (the chances of winning are lower for a multi-bet than a single bet).
I placed a multi-bet (e.g., 4-fold), however, one of the selections has been postponed. What happens to my bet?
If the selection that has been postponed does not replay within 24 hours, that selection will be voided/cancelled, and you will be paid out without that selection in the bet (e.g., your bet becomes a 3-fold).
NB: The 24-hour rule does not apply to tennis bets – matches will be rescheduled and bets will stand until the match has been played. Can sports odds change?
Yes, odds change as soon as the possible outcome of a bet changes but once your bet is placed, the odds at the time of placement stand. If you place the same bet at a later stage, odds may have changed due to something that could have affected the outcome of a result, though your bets will stand at the quoted rate at the time of placement.
In a live match, as goals/points are scored and the chances of one team winning increases, the odds are likely to change. However, once your bet is accepted and your quoted odds have been selected, the bet is settled according to the information displayed and saved in your ‘My Bets’ section.Where do I see my placed sports bets and winning information?
In the ‘My Bets’ section of your Sports section, unsettled bets are listed in the ‘Open Bets’ section and your settled bets with their outcomes are listed in the ‘Bet History’ section.
